Library tab

The project library tab provides the function of a repository for library components, assisting the BIM manager to develop standards for the organization.

Only the materials, objects, and construction systems that are a part of the Library area will be shown while working on a project in the Plugin.

You have to send components to projects through the appropriate repository in order to obtain elements within the project library. You can do this by clicking the "Send to Project" button when the Materials, Objects, or Construction System repository is open. Then, the project to which you want the element to be copied must be chosen from a drop-down list of the active projects displayed. You will find the copied element in the project Library section once you've finished this step.

When coping a Construction System our solution duplicates the materials layers that are related to it as well.

If your project library grows and you find it difficult to locate an element, you can always use the name search and type filter implemented on the top of the list view.

There are single delete and copy functions at the end of each element row. Remember that copying an element through the project library simply creates a duplicate of the element, but the original instance remains the same.

The "Send to Items in Use" button is located next to the copy and delete buttons and is used to add selected elements to the Items in Use section. We have made this option available. for users who rely on manual circularity evaluations and don't utilize BIM tools.
