Edit the Product Tree

After you created a product tree you then need to edit it's structure.

When you click on a product tree at your choice, a tab with General Information containing basic fields for name, description and language appears first. You can edit those at your preference if needed. Pay attention that once the Product Tree is created you will not be able to change its language.

The next tab will give you the option to build the product tree structure at your preference. To do this you must walk through the following steps;

You may begin creating a product tree by hovering over the bottom part of the "Main" section. A blue line with a plus sign at its end will then appear. When you click on this component, a highlighted box will appear where you may type in a "New Branch Name," select the color of the folder, choose if the branch is for construction systems, and an "Add" branch button at the very end. The box itself may appear to be slightly shifted to the right when you create a new branch; this shows that the box is a child element of the "Main" product tree section. Hovering over the bottom part of the generated branch allows you to construct a sub-branch, which you can then do by repeating the procedure. This way, you can design a tree structure for your content that is more suited to your organization.

Make sure to return to the Product Tree list view once you've completed modifying the Product Tree and verify that the tree you generated is set to be the primary one for the language you've chosen. By doing this, you can be confident that your company has the proper branch structure for attaching content to it.

Important! The Product Tree is only accessible to Super Admin accounts. Each language can only have one primary tree set. You have to manually move over and reassign all the items to the new tree categories if you transition from one Primary tree to another.
