Attribute Types
The only attribute types that our system currently supports are Angle, Area, Currency, Custom, File Upload, Length, Mass Density, Slope, Text, URL, Volume and Yes and No.
A detailed explanation for each of the supported attributes can be found in the video description;
Angle attributes are always saved as number with degrees as their measurement unit.
Area attributes are always saved as number with square meters as their measurement unit.
Currency attributes are always saved as number with Euro as their measurement unit.
The following section provides a detailed explanation of the Custom attribute.
Actual files may only be uploaded via the File Upload attributes, which has a 25MB upload limit.
Lenght attributes are always saved as number with centimeters as their measurement unit.
Mass Density attributes are always saved as number with kilograms per cubic meter as their measurement unit.
Slope attributes are always saved as number with percentages as their measurement unit.
Text attributes are always saved as a string.
URL attributes are always saved as a string. The field is subjected to basic url validations.
Volume attributes are always saved as number with cubic meter as their measurement unit.
When using the Yes and No attributes the user must specify true or false (yes and no) arguments.
Important! The data in our cockpit is saved within the provided reference units. When you import an element, our plugin will automatically change the reference unit and value to match the requirements of the project.
